At Walther Lutheran Academy Early Childhood Center we believe a Christ-centered education creates a firm foundation for life, promotes respect for self and others and fosters personal responsibility. Our staff and families work together to create an environment that is safe, nurturing, fun and a place where children want to learn. We encourage each child to discover his or her unique God-given talents while learning to participate in and contribute to a larger community. Young children love to learn and we strive to feed their curiosity in a loving, dynamic environment with a variety of programs and activities. The curriculum is centered on themes, center play and field trips. At Walther Lutheran Academy Early Childhood Center we believe strongly in the value of play and exploration for young children. We provide a variety of center play for the children to explore and experience. These centers may include a home center, language center, creative art, block center, sensory table, computers, science center, table toys, math center and writing center. |
