Dear
Parents,
I
have
to
apologize
to
you
for
scheduling
parent
teacher
conferences
on
a
Wednesday
during
Lent.
I
know
that
this
may
put
a
strain
on
your
schedule.
We
certainly
do
not
want
to
keep
you
from
attending
a
Wednesday
night
Lenten
service
at
your
church.
We
will
need
to
be
more
sensitive
to
our
scheduling
in
the
future.
At
any
rate,
when
the
schedule
conflict
was
identified,
it
was
too
late
to
change
our
date
for
parent
conferences.
So
I
offer
my
apology.
Here
we
are....
Tomorrow,
Wednesday,
March
20
is
our
day
for
parent
conferences.
There
is
no
school
for
your
student.
We
are
trying
something
new
this
Spring
by
having
our
conferences
all
in
one
day.
Conferences
are
scheduled
from
noon
to
3:30
p.m.
and
from
6-
9:00
p.m.
You
need
to
come
in
and
pick
up
your
student's
report
card.
If
you
received
a
letter
in
the
mail,
conferences
are
required.
Of
course
feel
free
to
visit
any
of
the
teachers.
Please
remember
that
other
parents
will
need
to
see
the
teachers
as
well.
Please
be
considerate
of
the
time
of
others.
Feel
free
to
make
plans
for
a
future
meeting
or
follow-up
time
or
way
to
communicate.
Ten
of
our
teachers
have
student
grades
posted
on-line.
You
should
have
received
and
returned
a
letter
that
indicates
how
to
access
your
students
grades
through
Edline,
our
web
based
grading
program.
If
you
are
unsure
about
this
opportunity,
talk
with
your
student's
teacher
or
Miss
Korff
who
is
coordinating
this
new
service.
I
have
heard
positive
feedback
from
parents
and
teachers
about
this
new
method.
(I
haven't
heard
quite
as
much
positive
from
students
who
know
they
can't
intercept
this
new
grade
communication.)
Please
let
us
know
how
it
is
working
on
your
end.
There
is
a
strong
possibility
that
all
of
our
teachers
will
use
this
grading
program
next
year,
which
also
allows
us
to
post
weekly
homework
assignments.
This
Thursday,
March
21
at
7
p.m.
in
our
Multipurpose
Room,
seventeen
students
will
be
inducted
into
Walther's
branch
of
the
National
Honor
Society.
Students
are
recommended
as
candidates
for
this
society
based
on
their
Character,
Scholarship,
Leadership,
and
Service.

to
receive
information
about

year's
schedule.

explaining

into

who
are
not
able
to
register
with
their

will
have
the
