Welcome to Naviance

Walther is pleased to introduce Family Connection from Naviance, an internet based service designed especially for students and parents. Family Connection is a comprehensive website that you and your child can use to help in making decisions about colleges and careers. Family Connection is linked with Counselor's Office, a service that we use to track and analyze data about college and career plans, so it provides up-to-date information that's specific to our school.

Family Connection will allow you and your child to get involved in the planning and advising process: build a resume, manage timelines and deadlines for making decisions about colleges and careers.

Currently Family Connection is set up to service our current senior class. As each of the seniors meet with Guidance, the colleges that they intend to send an application to are entered. Seniors completing applications, ask teachers for letters of recommendation, and request transcripts. Family Connection also allows the seniors to research some scholarship opportunities. This, along with all of their homework, will indeed keep them very busy! The junior class is added in early October so college research can begin for these students and their families.
