My most significant experience at Walther has been football season. I joined football because I liked the sport, but ended up getting a lot more out of it than I thought I would. In the beginning of this year, Walter seemed like a scary place hecause I had no friends.

Football season really helped me to meet new friends. I remember the first day of football pracrice. I barely knew anyone. I thought that I would never make friends, but sure enough it just happened. The kids were nice, and not only did I meet most of my current friends during football, but some of the upperclassmen really helped me along the way to learning about Walther. These friends weren't just by my side on the football field, but in the classroom as well.

I believe that if I wouldn't have joined football, my Walther experience would not have aeen nearly the same.
