What Is PIC?
PIC, which stands for Parent Involvement Credit, provides an opportunity for parents to earn up to $300 per student in tuition credit. Work opportunities will be available from June to March at the rate of $15.00 per hour. [Families who receive a Grant-In-Aid award must complete their PIC hours by December 31.]
PIC
is a mutually beneficial program supporting the work of Walther Lutheran High School
and assisting parents in the payment of their tuition. Parents will
be allowed to earn up to $300 annually for each of their paying students in tuition credit. $15 credit is awarded for each hour that adults from the student's family or household spend
in service to Walther, up to a maximum of 20 hours.
There is a great
variety of talents within the Walther family. There is a way for every family to participate in the PIC plan.
Listed below are a few of the many options available for earning PIC credit while assisting the operation of Walther.
Beginning
June 1, PIC hours worked are credited toward tuition
for the new school year. Watch the monthly newsletter, News and Notes, which arrives with your tuition statement, for
special PIC opportunities. You may call the school office at 708.344.0404 to ask about PIC possibilities and you may call the Bronco Thrift Shop at 708.344.2888 to schedule PIC work hours.
