Spend a delicious afternoon at the Taste of Walther on Saturday, March 15, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Walther Lutheran High School. Enjoy rib tips, hot and spicy chicken wings, tacos, tamales, pizza, red beans and rice, corn bread and more, along with games, children’s crafts, a bake sale, and entertainment celebrating the potpourri of cultures represented at Walther. Admission is FREE!! Tickets will be sold for food and games. Walther Lutheran High School is at 9th and Chicago Avenues (one block north of Lake St.) in Melrose Park. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Wheels for Walther fundraiser for a new school bus.
