TASTE OF WALTHER CELEBRATES CULTURAL DIVERSITY WITH FOOD, FUN
Celebrate the approach of spring with a Taste of Walther. Walther Lutheran High School offers a multicultural culinary celebration with a sampling of foods from diverse ethnic traditions including Italian, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Asian, African American and more. On Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 1 to 5 p.m. the school at 9th and Chicago Avenues in Melrose Park will feature food, games, children’s crafts, a bake sale, a vendor fair and entertainment from the potpourri of cultures represented at Walther. Admission is FREE!! Tickets will be sold for food and games.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Wheels for Walther fundraiser for a new school bus.
Walther’s student body reflects a diverse community that comes from fifty-seven Chicago area zip codes.
