| 2008 Grade School Chess
Tournament
The 2007-2008 school year marks Walther's fifth consecutive year of bringing students together from Lutheran grade schools to compete in a chess tournament.
In
recent years Walther has added a varsity chess team to a growing
list of extracurricular activities now available to our high school students.
Walther is excited to offer this chess tournament, as a service to our Lutheran grade schools, partners with us in Lutheran education. The Walther Lutheran Grade School Chess Tournament also provides an opportunity for 5th through 8th grade students from Lutheran
schools to compete against one another in chess at Walther.
