Math Competition

The Math Competition takes place in the 5th through 8th grade classrooms of local Lutheran schools. It is one of the academic programs which promotes scholastic excellence at our school. Unlike traditional spelling bee formats that require direct face-to-face competition and pressure, this competition is a "mail tournament" which may appeal to students who might not feel comfortable in a "bee" type situation but who have talents and interests in the field of math.

Awards: Once tests have been scored, schools are notified of the school's top three participants in each grade. These students will receive an award certificate; the top scorer in each grade, 5th through 8th, will also earn a medal.
