Vs. Addison Trail
The Broncos kicked off their season with a 5-0 victory over Addison Trail High School on March 19 th . Winners for Walther were Danny Vasser at #1 singles 6-0, 6-0. Drew Steinhart likewise began his tennis career at Walther with a hard-fought victory at #2 singles 7-5, 6-4. In the doubles division Dairon Robinson and Arran Skinner teamed up and cruised 6-2 and 6-3 at #1. Brian Jackson and Alfred Fritz edged their opponents at 2 nd 7-5, 6-4 and Mitch Berg and Darius Logan dominated at 3rd winning 6-0, 6-3.

Vs. Schaumburg High School
Making up a rained out match from earlier in the season the squad journeyed to Schaumburg High School on March 20th. This time the Broncos lost in a close match 2-3. Winning at 1st Doubles were Arran Skinner and Dairon Robinson, 6-4, 6-2. Alfred Fritz and Simeon Cornwell were tough in a close one 6-4, 6-4. At third doubles, Mitch Berg and Darius Logan lost their first set 1-6, came back to win 6-3 in the second and then went down to the Saxons 4-10 in a third set tie-breaker.

Vs. Illiana Christian
Congratulations to the Bronco tennis team which defeated Illiana Christian yesterday in a close 3-2 match. Winners for Walther were Drew Steinhart at 2 nd singles. Also winning after 3-set matches were Danny Vasser at 1 st singles and Dairon Robinson and Arran Skinner at 1 st doubles. Today the netmen are at home against Montini. Come out on this beautiful spring day and support your team!
Vs. Montini
The Bronco Tennis team pushed its season record to 6-2 Wednesday with a 4-1 victory over Montini. There were three 3-set matches that all went Walther's way. Danny Vasser won in three at 1 st singles, Alfred Fritz and Brian Jackson rallied from behind to win their final set 7-5 while the third doubles combo of Darius Logan and Mitch Berg won after sets of 6-4, 6-7(6-8) 6-4. Meanwhile the first doubles team of Dairon Robinson and Arran Skinner cruised to a relatively easy 6-2, 6-0 victory. The Broncos play 3 at home next week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
