Important Final Exam Notes
- Students who do not attend their scheduled final exam will receive a "zero" on their exam, unless prior arrangements have been made with Mr. Craven.
- The first finve (5) minutes of the first final each day will be for intercom devotions.
- If any student receives an incomplete ("I") for any course, the incomplete must be removed by Tuesday, June 9th or the incomplete will become an "F".
- There will be NO locker or restroom passes given during the exam period.
- From the Family Handbook: "Credit for course work is awarded at the end of the semester. The semester is a combination of the two quarter grades each of which is worth 40%, and the final examination grade, which is worth 20%."
- Also from the Family Handbook: "PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING POLICY: IF A STUDENT RECEIVES A FAILING GRADE IN TWO OF THE THREE COMPONENTS USED TO AVERAGE A SEMESTER GRADE, CREDIT FOR THE COURSE WILL BE FORFEITED." For example, if a student earns a "B" for the first quarter of a course, an "F" for the second quarter, and then fails the semester exam, he or she will receive an "F" for the esmester grade, regardless of averages. This prevents a student from passing a semester merely on the strength of only one quarter's effort."
- SENIORS: To be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony, all class work, including the final exam, must be completed by Thursday, June 4 at 10:45 a.m. This is necessary in order to ensure all academic requirements are fulfilled prior to the ceremony.
