Philosophy
The
Walther
Scholars
Program
seeks
to
broaden
the
educational
experiences
of
those
students
who
pursue
academic
excellence.
This
is
accomplished
by
providing
students
with
a
rigorous
class
schedule,
field
trips
which
extend
learning
done
in
the
classroom,
additional
guidance
in
college
preparation
and
selection,
experience broadening assignments and
special
opportunities
for
service.
Walther
believes
that
those
students
who
have
been
blessed
by
God
with
the
talent
and
desire
to
excel
must
be
good
stewards
of
those
gifts.
The
Scholars
Program
is
one
way
to
help
those
students
realize
their
potential.
