Walther Lutheran High School scholars went on retreat two weeks before the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year. They began their time together with team building activities and an overnight stay at Walcamp Outdoor Ministries in Kingston, IL. The next morning, they make an historical visit to the Ronald Reagan boyhood home in Dixon, IL. The rest of the day was spent in Rockford, IL. The group used the computer lab and classrooms at Rockford Lutheran High School for a devotion writing workshop. Each scholar completed a written devotion based on the 2006-2007 school theme, "Walking with God," based on Psalm 86:11. |
