And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Do you ever worry about things that have gone wrong? Or maybe they just didn't turn out the way you planned them. Things like bad grades on tests, losses in games, arguments with friends, and break-ups in relationships can seem like the end of the world, and cause major stress. High school can be an intense time in our lives. It can also be difficult because our older age and maturity bring more important and difficult decisions. It feels that everything we do will affect our futures and shape what we are going to do with our lives.
Thankfully, we do not have to go through all of this alone. Throughout these steps and choices, it is very important to remember that God is always with us and by our sides. Everything that happens in our lives is just part of His master plan. Although events may take place that make life seem impossible or hopeless, if we trust in God, He will always be there to protect, love, and care for us, and allow us to see the ways that we can learn from these problems and obstacles. He will also be there to direct us through tough times and decisions, and help us see how His plan fits into all situations, no matter how horrible they may seem. We can believe and trust in Him, and He will bless us by carrying out His plan for our lives. Although the going may get tough at times, He will always be there to lead us, ultimately guiding us to eternal life with Him in Heaven.

Dear God, help us to remember that you are constantly with us and by our sides to love, protect, and lead us. Please help us to always trust in and follow you, even when going through hard times. In your name we pray. Amen. |
