But you are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9

By: Rebecca Duff

You're in the middle of the line. There is a group of kids next to you thinking the same thing. One by one they peel away, split, and walk to one of the bunches forming. The two kids calling the names are looking up and down the line, looking for the best potential. They are thinking about who would be the best for each job. Finally you hear your name and you walk over to your new team.

We've all been there. We all have stood in a ine that as a kid hoping not to be the last one picked. We've all wanted to be noticed, to be selected or chosen for something. For some, it's a little game or a sports team. Some people want to be chosen for a specific part ina play. We want to be noticed and welcomed by a certain group of people. We've all been thrugh that anxiety.

You don't have to worry about being chosen by God. He knows each and every one of you and chooses you specifically for His work. He has a plan for you. You don't have to be worried about being looked over or forgotten. God cares about you and everything you do. You're never not good enough. GOod made you perfect and chose you to be part of His team. It is now your job to use the gifts He gave you to spread his gospel. You're on the team. Go play ball.
