Praiseworthy - deserving of high praise
The concept of the word Praiseworthy is very different of what it should be. In our world, we often look up to those in the spotlight. We heap praise upon those that are famous, or athletes. The people that get our public praise are not always praiseworthy. If someone famous does something that most people would not do, they get attention and many people call that praise, but it really isn't. We just look at them in awe, and want to be like them. The people that are really praiseworthy are those that are not in the public eye, the teachers, parents, pastors, and public workers that have undesirable jobs. God gave us these people to help us. We need to help them. These people are role models for us. God gave them to us, and he is the most worthy of praise. The Bible says " Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom." From Psalms 145:3. Christ became the example of what is deserving of praise. We can't forget that all things come from God. He gives us what we need, every thing that sustains us. Including the police officers that work for little pay and attention, the ones that really love their job. These are the people who deserve to be praised. The guy the protects us, the police, firefighters and doctors, not just the rich brain specialists, but the regulate physician who helps the sick or old people. In my opinion the 2 jobs that deserve the most praise are the teachers, and the social workers, like those that work in an orphanage. Teachers are training the next generation, setting the example for the future. The social workers are the people who do the things we don't. They help the homeless, the orphans, and yes, the senior citizens who have no help. The volunteer is the greatest worker, deserving the most praise. |
