Have you ever felt insignificant? Have you ever felt like you don't belong? In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul writes about the body of Christ. “ 14 Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.” In this part of 1 Corinthians, it is easy for us to see our role in Christ. Though we may not be the brains, we could be the feet. It does not matter what role we play. Christ is trying to show us that everyone has an important role in his church. He recognizes every member as a vital part of his well being. As so should we. We must not only realize that we have an important part, but so does every one else. Once we recognize this, we can all fulfill God's plans for our lives. So next time you feel you are not important, or can not help remember God recognizes every little bit of help as important and for that, no one can be overlooked.

Please pray with me, Dear Jesus, next time I feel I can not do something, or I feel I am not important, help me to remember that to you everyone and everything is important. Amen.
