One Body

"Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. If the foot should say, "Because I am not the hand, i do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye. i do not belong to the body, " it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? I the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. if they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body." 1 Corinthians 12:14-20

This same verse can be applied to ut daily lives today. If in baseball, the whole team wer pitchers, how would teh ball ever be fielded when the other team hit the ball? If the whole school was only students, how would anyone ever learn anything? If in football, every player was a lineman, how will the ball ever be moverd down the field? God has a plan for everyone and everything on earth. He does not look at anything as more important than the other, but He loooks at everyone having a purpose or job to do. We are all one body in Christ. We should serve this purpose in life for God, and be a good witness to HIm.

Let us pray. Dear Lord please continue to remind us that in Your eyes we are all of equal importance. That we all have some duty to fulfill for You. Please help us to serve this duty for You. In Your Name, Amen.
