Walther Lutheran High School Scholars' Devotions 2006-2007

Teach me Your way, O LORD, and I will walk in Your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name. Psalm 86:11
This summer, the Scholars partipated in a devotion writing workshop and were commissioned to plan, research and prepare devotions based around the school theme for 2006-2007, Walking with God. Based on Psalm 86:11.
Introduction to Walking with God Many of us walk for fitness, for
recreation, for getting where we want to
go. At Walther, we are in a spiritual walk,
a Christian walk, a walk with God. The
Bible is full of references to the Lord
walking with His people and helping His
people to walk in His will.
Walther students exercise their walk
with God in the community in many
ways, by participating in the annual October
Crop Walk to combat hunger, being involved in special events like the May 2006
Phil's Friends
Walk-a-Thon to
help provide
Christian ministry
to children with
cancer, and providing help
out each year at the
Chicago
Marathon. This school year Walther students will grow in their faith and understanding as they
spiritually walk with Abraham and Isaac, the children of Israel, the Magi, the Apostle Paul, Saint Peter, and throughout, the Savior Jesus Christ.
We're going for a walk, won't you join us?
