When someone asks you what your talents are, what do you think of? Most people would say they are good at sports or can draw well. They play some instrument. The word "talent" makes us think of some great basketball player, musician, or author. The truth of it is talents don't have to be as grand as we all imagine. They come in all shapes and sizes; from being kind towards others to being calm in stressful situations. Maybe your gift is to recognize the talents in others. All talents are gifts from God. We all need to recognize these wonderful talents we have been given. As it says in 2 Timothy 1:6, "For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying of my hands."We, as Christians, have to do all we can to develop these abilities so that we can use them to glorify God. We should use these gifts to help other. We should all try to encourage other people to use their talents in such a way that would be beneficial to all. We are all part of one body in Christ. Each person needs to do their part in this union which includes using their abilities to help everyone else.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to you to thank you for all of the wonderful blessings you have given me even though I do not deserve them. You graciously give me Your forgiveness and care everyday, even when I keep sinning. I ask you to help me to use the gifts you have given me to the best of my abilities in a way that glorifies you. Amen
