Our world is a world full of sin. We sin every day whether we want to or not. We, as humans, were even born with sin. Everyone sins; they just can't help but do it. Thankfully, Jesus came down to Earth and saved us from our sins, and redeemed us so that we can live eternally with our Father. Jesus willingly gave his own life so that ours could be saved. Let me give you an example: a friend of mine, we will call him Jerry, once had a big party at his house when he knew that his parents weren't going to be home, he knew the party was wrong, but he didn't really care. He had a really good time at the party, and so did everyone else there. It seemed like he was going to get away with it, but the next morning his mom figured it out because he forgot to clean the backyard. He is being punished by his parents for the sins he committed when he decided to throw this party, but as long as he is sorry for his sins, Jesus will forgive him and he will live forever in Paradise.

Ddearest and almighty Father in Heaven. We come to you now asking for Your forgiveness for our sins. We know what we do to you and to others, and even to ourselves is wrong, but we wish to be granted your eternal pardon from them. Help us to lead good, holy, and complete lives by doing what is right in your eyes. Help us to know what is right according to your Word and to live by it for the rest of our lives. Please give us peace in our hearts for the guilt we feel for the people we have hurt or just haven't helped when we should have. In Jesus holy Name we pray. Amen.
