Teach me Your way, O LORD, and I will walk in Your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name. Psalm 86:11

WALKING IN FAITH...
"Remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully..." 2 Kings 20:3a

Letting God Lead

Let God lead. Those are three simple yet very important words. Letting God be our guide is essential in our Christian life. Often we take the fact that God is always here for us for granted. We go on with our routine day only thinking about school, sports, friends, and other things that may occupy our time. We forget all about God and the love He has for us.until we're in trouble, that is. Then we cry "help me God" or "I promise that I won't be bad again if you get me out of this situation". Does this sound familiar? I'm sure for most of us it does. God is always the hero, but shouldn't there be more to your relationship? Yes, there should be. God deserves a friend in you. He sent His son to die for you, the least you can do is form a good relationship with Him. Once you establish this relationship, you will see things starting to get a little easier in life. God will not only be your friend but He will be your guide. Psalms 23:3 says "He leads me in the path of righteousness for His name's sake." God will lead you in the right path. If you follow the wrong path God will show you the right one. Why wait until you get in a bad situation, when you can have God tell you not to do it in the first place? Let God direct your path and you will be on the road to spiritual success. Don't let it be a one-sided friendship. Talk with God and pray with God. Involve Him in your everyday life. Take Him into your heart and build a strong relationship. There is not a better friend or a better leader.
