Walther Christian Academy’s curriculum is designed as a comprehensive liberal arts and college preparatory program. It aims to deliver a well-rounded, multi-disciplinary education that serves as a strong foundation for students’ success in post-secondary education and beyond. Additionally, we offer our students 9 AP courses which includes: AP Chemistry, AP United States Government & Politics, AP Statistics, AP World History: Modern, AP United States History, AP Calculus AB, AP English Literature and Composition, AP Spanish Language and Culture, and AP English Language and Composition.
Walther students in Grades 6-12 participated in the TechPowered STEM program, presented by Exelon and developed by Walther alum Kashanna Eiland ’98. Fully funded by Exelon, the program introduced students to technology and career pathways in the field.
Around 30 students attended six sessions from September to November. Highlights included a Collaborative Coding event where teams navigated a robot ball through a maze, a Geek Speak panel with tech professionals, and a day of job shadowing at Chase Tower in Chicago. The program received positive feedback, with students and mentors hoping it returns next year.

Walther Christian Academy is operated for the purpose of providing Christian Education at the secondary level for the families of Lutheran congregations. However, it admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, and religion to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
