We Are Walther Newsletter, January 2022

Dear Alumni and Friends,

Walther Christian Academy is excited to host an in-person Career Day on Friday, April 8, 2022.

Our theme this year is “Consider Endless Possibilities and Opportunities.” Our goal is to expose our High School students to the many career opportunities that are available and kick-start their thinking about college choices and majors. We are especially interested in promoting the following areas:

  • IT/Technology
  • Healthcare/Sciences/Medical
  • Finance/Money Management/Investment
  • Christian Education or Ministry
  • Arts: Digital, Film, Editing, Music, Theatre etc. and Philanthropy
  • Trades: Auto, HVAC, Electrician, Plumbing, Hairstyling and more

We are looking for alumni and businesses that would be willing to share their career choice for the entire day and speak to students about your job. It’s a great opportunity to promote what you do, the company you represent, and to connect with our students and answer their questions. You will have a space to display materials to distribute, and lunch will be provided.

Set up time will be 8:30 am and the day will end at 3 pm. This is a great
opportunity to help students and to give back in such a meaningful way.
There is no cost to participate but a “free will” donation will be gladly accepted.

Please email Sally_Ruecking@WaltherAcademy.org no later than March 8 to RSVP. In your email, please include the field you work in, your name and phone number, and any questions you might have. Make a difference in a student’s life!

I look forward to hearing from you!!
