Greetings from Walther!
We are in the middle of a busy fall season with lots going on. It is wonderful to see so many of our students taking advantage of all Walther has to offer. Our Fall Play, “The Day the Internet Died” premiers this coming weekend, so a good portion of our students are busy with tech week. Our Lady Broncos volleyball team just won the Regional Championship, and are headed to Sectionals. Congratulations to them!
One recent highlight was our Reformation Day chapel service at St. Paul Melrose Park. St. Paul graciously allowed us to use their magnificent sanctuary for a beautiful service featuring our choirs, wind ensemble and organ while Pastor Duffy preached on the importance of the Reformation. Many of our students wore red, making it even more festive.
Finally, we hosted 80 prospective students and their families at our recent Open House, which is an exciting number, and significantly higher than our first Open House last year. It was wonderful to meet so many families interested in what Walther has to offer.
